Ready or Not, Here Comes Autumn: Our Fall Workshop Lineup Has Landed

We’re not rushing summer out the door — we promise. But here in Niagara’s zone 6b, the calendar has a way of catching up with us, and the season ahead is far too good to leave to chance. Our Autumn Workshops are officially open, and this year’s collection is our warmest, most hands-on yet.

Why We Love a Fall Workshop

There’s something about autumn in Niagara that makes people want to gather, roll up their sleeves, and make something with their hands. The light softens, the vineyards blush gold, and the greenhouse fills with the smell of dried grasses, cinnamon, and fresh-cut stems. It’s the season of slowing down — and there’s no better way to do that than an afternoon spent creating alongside good company.

Our Workshop Village was built for exactly this. Every session is led by one of our makers, suited to all skill levels, and designed so you leave with something beautiful and the know-how to do it again. No experience required — just bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend). Here’s a look at what’s on the table this fall.

This Season’s Lineup

01

Fall Harvest Planter — $69

Trade your tired summer containers for a display built to shrug off the first frost. We’ll guide you through layering mums, ornamental accents, grasses, and seasonal touches into a planter that looks gorgeous now and holds its own well into November. In zone 6b, our average first fall frost lands around October 15th, so a cold-tolerant harvest planter is exactly what your front step needs.

02

Timeless Fall Wreath — $74

Nothing says “welcome” like a handmade wreath on the door. Working with dried florals, seed pods, preserved foliage, and seasonal textures, you’ll build a statement piece that lasts the whole season — and beyond. Every wreath comes out a little different, which is exactly the point.

03

Thanksgiving Pumpkin Arrangement — $59

Turn a humble pumpkin into a centrepiece worthy of the holiday table. Using a real pumpkin as your vessel, you’ll arrange deep burgundies, burnt oranges, and dusty golds into a showstopper your guests won’t stop talking about. It’s the perfect make-ahead for a Niagara Thanksgiving gathering.

04

Pumpkin, Thistle & Twig — $68

A little rustic, a little wild, and entirely charming. This session pairs a pumpkin base with thistle, succulents, twigs, and textural botanicals for a piece that feels straight out of the autumn woods. Cozy, tactile, and endlessly Instagrammable.

Every workshop is designed for all skill levels — first-timers and seasoned makers leave equally proud of what they’ve built.

05

Moss Art

Bring a piece of the greenhouse indoors with a living-inspired moss art panel. Preserved mosses, botanical accents, and a bit of texture come together into a piece of wall art that needs zero watering and zero green thumb. It’s meditative, a little messy, and endlessly satisfying.

06

Cookie Decorating & Plenty More

For the makers who prefer their creativity edible, our cookie decorating session is as fun for grown-ups as it is for kids — icing, sprinkles, and a box of little masterpieces to take home. And that’s just the start: new sessions are added throughout the season, so browse the full schedule and book early. Our favourites fill up fast.

How to Book Your Spot

Spaces are limited by design — smaller groups mean more one-on-one time with our makers and a more relaxed, unhurried afternoon. Browse the full lineup on our website, pick the session that catches your eye, and reserve before your preferred date fills up. Workshops are hosted at our Vineland destination at 3725 King St, where you can make an afternoon of it: linger in the greenhouse, grab something fresh from the Pastry Market, or book a seat for our Tropical Garden Tea while you’re here.

Come solo for a little me-time, bring a friend, or gather the whole crew for a birthday, a bridal shower, or just because. However you arrive, you’ll leave with something you made and a good story to go with it.

AUTUMN, THE WATERING CAN WAY

Fall is short and sweet in Niagara — so let’s make the most of it. Whether you’re layering a frost-ready planter or icing a cookie or two, our Autumn Workshops are our favourite way to welcome the season together. Ready or not, here it comes.
