The Watering Can in Vineland is a casual and tropical dining establishment surrounded by a lush floral paradise. We are dedicated to offering our guests a fresh and delightful dining experience. We are currently seeking a Barista to join our team. As a Barista at The Watering Can, you will play a vital role in crafting and serving exceptional coffee and beverages to our guests, enhancing their overall visit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages to guests with precision and quality.
• Provide outstanding customer service, offering a warm and welcoming experience to all patrons.
• Collaborate with the pastry team and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination of orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and other beverage supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• A passion for coffee and a desire to create exceptional beverages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

As a Bistro Server, you’ll be the face of our bistro, delivering outstanding service and ensuring that our guests have a delightful dining experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Ensure tables are set beautifully and maintained throughout guests’ visits
Table Service:
- Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with our high standards
- Guide guests through the menu, offer recommendations, and take orders accurately
Knowledgeable:
- Familiarize yourself with our menu, including ingredients, preparation, and specials
- Be ready to answer questions and accommodate special requests
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared to perfection
- Assist fellow team members to create a seamless dining experience
Accuracy & Efficiency:
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently, including processing credit card transactions
- Manage multiple tables with grace and attention to detail
Qualifications:
- A passion for providing exceptional hospitality
- Previous server or restaurant experience is a plus

Garden Tea Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time – Day Shifts
Key Responsibilities:
• Prep food items to be served on Garden Tea tiers. Assemble Garden Tea Tiers.
• Communicating with Garden Tea servers to ensure a smooth, successful service.
• Responsible for taking inventory of Garden Tea ingredients.
• Prioritize daily tasks in order of importance and asks for help when necessary.
• Keep a clean, organized fridge and workspace using first in first out practices
Qualifications:
• Experience with basic kitchen prep, experience with using a knife for chopping.
• Understanding of safe food handling practices and hygiene. A Food Handlers Certificate is an asset.
• An understanding of Food Allergies and safe practices when preparing food for customers with allergens.
• A positive, can-do attitude with the desire and motivation to continually improve.
• Enjoys working with others in a team however can work independently when needed.
• Capable of staying on task and working efficiently under time constraints.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Excellent communicator.
