About the role
The Watering Can in Vineland is a casual, welcoming bistro surrounded by a lush floral paradise. We are dedicated to providing our guests with a fresh, enjoyable dining experience and exceptional hospitality.
We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Bistro Server to join our team. As a Bistro Server, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while providing friendly, attentive service to our guests.
This is a year-round position with part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Provide knowledgeable and attentive service throughout the guest’s visit.
- Guide guests through the menu, answer questions, make recommendations, and accurately take orders.
Table Service
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their experience and address any needs or concerns.
Menu Knowledge
- Become familiar with our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
- Answer guest questions and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the kitchen and bistro team to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and assist wherever needed to provide a seamless guest experience.
Accuracy & Efficiency
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Remain calm, organized, and attentive during busy periods.
- Process orders and payments accurately.

Requirements
- Previous serving experience in a bistro, café, or restaurant is preferred.
