Reservations are required to attend a Garden Tea. Our Pastry Chefs prepare fresh items specifically for each guest early in the morning. Unfortunately, walk-ins are not available.

We love you just the way you are! No formal attire required. Our Garden Teas take place in a very relaxed setting. However, if you are in the mood to dress up, that works too. We recommend wearing layered clothing as our Garden Teas are held in our greenhouse and temperatures can fluctuate..

No shows really hurt! Our Garden Teas are prepared fresh, in house daily and is an item that we serve the day of for quality and freshness. The Garden Teas are not an item that can be served the next day, therefore, when someone does not show it becomes a completely wasted product. Our desire is to eliminate food waste, as much as possible, especially with the rising costs of food, plus, take into account the hours and wages spent in preparation!

Yes, we do! Our reservation calendar is updated daily, showing seating availability up to two months in advance. Each day, the calendar shifts forward by dropping the previous day and adding a new one.

Based on feedback from our guests, we understand the desire for a simpler tipping process. Please note that we do not have debit terminals available in the Garden Tea area as all transactions are prepaid.

We are committed to providing excellent service for our garden teas, and your satisfaction is our top priority. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, please inform us during the garden tea experience. We will promptly refund the gratuity back to your credit card, and additionally, we will provide you with the original gratuity amount in cash. Your feedback is invaluable, and we appreciate the opportunity to make it right.

No, dogs are not allowed in the dining area at The Watering Can. This policy is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Niagara Regional Public Health authority. We prioritize the health and safety of all our guests, and these guidelines help us maintain a clean and comfortable dining environment for everyone to enjoy.

While we love our furry friends, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your dogs into the dining area. We do, however, welcome them in the rest of our facility, where they can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our floral paradise alongside you.

These things happen! We will work with you to make the garden tea happen.  Please call us at 905 562 0088.

Won’t be able to attend? We get it, life happens! We can reschedule or put your garden tea on hold if contacted 48 hours in advance. If the cancellation is less than a 48 hour notice, we can prepare your Garden Tea Experience as a ‘To-Go’ option for those unable to attend. This way you can still enjoy the treats in the comfort of your own home. The Garden Teas are non refundable.

Yes!! We offer a ‘Princess/Prince Garden Tea’ for kids ages 3 to 10, the cost is $22 per child. Children aged 2 and under do not need to be registered guests. Please call 905-562-0088 to add any children who will be attending your Garden Tea Experience.

We do not have Air Conditioning in our facility. During the summer our Garden Tea’s are enjoyed in the great outdoors with a natural breeze, and during the winter our Garden Tea’s are kept warm inside of our tropical greenhouse atmosphere.

We can prepare for most dietary restrictions! If you don’t see your specific dietary restrictions as an option when reserving, please send us an email a.s.a.p. (minimum 48hrs required before your garden tea) with specific information to info@twcfm.ca. We will review your request to check whether or not we are able to accommodate.

Please Note: We are not able to combine Gluten free & Vegan together as a an option.

No! Our kitchen is not a gluten free or nut free kitchen. We take every precaution to ensure a safe kitchen with very little to no cross contamination.

Nut Free & Gluten Free are always served on an individual tier.  Most tiers serve 2 people.  If you have any dietary restrictions and would like an individual tier, please let us know prior to the date of your garden tea.

Our Garden Tea selection currently contains pork. For substitutions please email info@thewateringcan.ca in advance.

No. There is no lunch menu available in the Garden Tea area.
Everyone must be a paying Garden Tea guest to join you at the table. The table is set to accommodate those who are registered.

We are not able to provide an exact menu of the individual items on The Garden Teas. There is an abundant amount of fare served and it is up to the chef’s discretion to switch up items depending on local seasonal fare from time to time. However, we do serve a selection of tea sized sandwiches, salad, mini quiche, scones, and a large variety of sweets accompanied with your selection from our Sloane Tea menu.

We do serve an abundance of fare on our Garden Tea. No problem! We will provide you with take-home boxes for leftovers.

Yes, we do! Please send us an email to info@twcfm.ca after booking your Garden Tea with any details. We will place you in the perfect location.

We can make it happen! For groups larger than 8 please contact us to make your reservation.

There are 15 flavours of Sloane tea options to choose from, however, you may switch to a coffee or cold drink option.
