Job Title: Facility Maintenance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Facility Maintenance Assistant. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks to ensure our facilities and grounds are well-maintained and functional. This role also includes occasional responsibilities for picking up products or supplies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the appearance and safety of outdoor grounds (salting etc)
  • Handle occasional pick-ups and deliveries of products or supplies as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Conduct light handyman tasks such as painting, drilling, assembly and basic carpentry.
  • Support other maintenance and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Previous experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, or handyman work.
  • Experience with light handyman tasks such as painting, building, and repairs.
  • Familiarity power tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to varying weather conditions. The role may involve occasional weekend or after-hours tasks depending on operational needs.

  • Handle food preparation and cooking duties in various sections of the kitchen, including grill, sauté, fry, and more
  • Ensure all food items are cooked and presented to perfection, meeting quality and plating guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate timely and efficient service during busy periods.
  • Assist in ingredient and inventory management to ensure freshness and minimal wastage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Follow proper storage and labeling practices to optimize food rotation and freshness.
  • Uphold kitchen hygiene by washing, chopping, and peeling ingredients as required.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated on new cooking techniques and menu items.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant culinary position.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
