Glow, Sip, Shop, Repeat: Evenings Under the Lights Return to Vineland

Some traditions are worth staying up late for. Evenings Under the Lights is back at our Vineland location this November and December, with twinkling lights, live music, local wine samples and a little extra Christmas magic. This year, we’ve added something new to the menu too: dinner.

What Makes an Evening Under the Lights

Picture it. The sun has set early, the way it does in a Niagara November. You pull into the lot on King Street and the whole place is glowing. Inside, there’s live music drifting between the festive displays, a glass of something local in your hand, and shelves of Christmas treasures waiting to be discovered.

That’s the whole idea. Evenings Under the Lights is our way of slowing the season down. No crowds racing the clock, no frantic parking-lot laps. Just warm light, good company and time to wander. Come for twenty minutes or stay for three hours. Both are exactly right.

New This Year: Make It Dinner

An evening this lovely deserves a proper meal, so this year we’re opening up dinner reservations on every event night. Choose from our regular dining menu, or try one of two specialty dinner options created just for Evenings Under the Lights.

Here’s how it works. Reservations run from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. and are required if you’d like to dine. Each one includes a 75-minute seating. There’s a $10 per person reservation payment, and here’s the sweet part: that $10 goes right back to you as a plated dessert of your choice that evening. Our pastry team bakes everything in-house, so you’re in good hands.

Your Evening, Planned

• Book dinner early — Reservations are open now through the link in our Instagram bio. Popular dates (hello, December Fridays) tend to fill first.
• Arrive before your seating — Give yourself time to wander the displays and sample some local wine before you sit down.
• Save room for dessert — Your reservation payment covers a plated dessert, so it would be rude not to.
• Bring your list — With the store open until 8:00 p.m., this is the calmest way to tick off holiday gifts, wreaths and festive décor.
• Dress warm — It’s a Niagara winter evening. Cozy layers make the walk from the car far more festive.

Sip Something Local

Niagara is wine country, and we’re lucky to call some wonderful wineries our neighbours. On event nights, local winery samples are part of the experience. It’s a lovely way to discover a new favourite bottle for your holiday table, or for someone on your list who is very hard to shop for.

Pair a sip with the live music and the glow of the displays, and you’ll understand why so many of you call this your favourite time of year.

A Little Good Goes a Long Way

Plans change. We get it. If a dinner reservation is cancelled or goes unused, that reservation fee won’t sit in our till. Every unused fee from cancellations and no-shows will be donated to Hospice Niagara, an organization that cares for families across our region when they need it most.

It’s a small thing, but it matters to us. Being a family-run business rooted in Niagara for more than 25 years means looking after the community that has looked after us.
