Why “Pink Champagne”?

The name is a promise. Champagne is what we reach for when something deserves to be noticed — a toast, a milestone, a small triumph. Pink softens all that celebration into something gentler and more personal. Together they make a bouquet that feels like a warm hug and a raised glass at the same time.

We built this arrangement for the moments that don’t always get a party but absolutely deserve flowers: the friend who nailed the interview, the new parents running on no sleep, the neighbour who fed your cat, the anniversary that still makes you a little giddy. What’s Inside the Blush

Every Pink Champagne is built by hand at our design bench, so no two are ever quite identical, but the palette holds steady: layers of pink from the palest ballet-slipper blush to a warmer rose, with textural moments to keep the eye moving.

A Note for Our Niagara Gardeners

If Pink Champagne has you dreaming of growing your own blush blooms, good news: roses and carnations are right at home here in Niagara’s growing zone 6b. Our winters are cold enough to keep hardy shrub and climbing roses honest, and our long, warm summers give them plenty of time to flush and reflush.

The trick in 6b is timing. Wait until our average last spring frost around May 15th before planting out anything tender, and plan for the curtain to fall around the first fall frost in mid-October. That generous window is exactly why cut-flower season in Niagara is such a joy — and why our design bench is never short on local, seasonal beauty.

How to Keep Them Looking Their Best

• Fresh water, often — top up daily and give the vessel a full refresh every couple of days.
• Cool is kind — keep the arrangement out of direct sun and away from heat vents to stretch its vase life.
• Trim on an angle — a quick snip off the stems every few days helps them drink.
• Mind the fruit bowl — ripening fruit gives off ethylene gas, which ages blooms faster than they’d like.
