About the role
We are looking for a friendly and hard-working Seasonal Christmas Tree Associate to join our team during the holiday season. This role is all about helping customers choose the perfect Christmas tree, preparing trees for transport, and supporting our seasonal workshops. Our Christmas tree sales support Local Hospices, so you’ll be making a meaningful difference in people’s lives while spreading holiday cheer.
Schedule:
• Seasonal position, approximately 4 weeks during the holiday season.
• Typical shifts run Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 6:30pm and Saturdays – 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Experience
• Assist customers in finding the right size and type of tree.
• Carry, trim, and prepare trees for loading (must be comfortable handling 6–7' trees).
• Keep the tree lot tidy, safe, and well-organised.
• Provide friendly customer service throughout the tree selection process.
• Support workshop activities by setting up supplies, assisting participants, and helping with cleanup.
• Perform light to moderate lifting and outdoor tasks related to holiday sales and events.
Requirements
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 25–50 lbs, including Christmas trees up to 7'.
• Reliability and flexibility during a busy seasonal period.
